Directions

Greensboro is located at the intersection of two major interstate highways (I-85 and I-40) in the Piedmont region of central North Carolina. Greensboro is served by the Piedmont Triad International Airport (PTIA) and Amtrak passenger rail service. The Troy-Bumpas Inn is located in the College Hill Historic District in the Downtown area of Greensboro.

From Asheville and Hickory, NC: Travel east on I-40E. Take exit 214B for Wendover Avenue East. Turn right onto Wendover Avenue. Take the Market Street ramp to Downtown and turn right onto West Market Street. Turn right onto S. Mendenhall Street. The inn is ahead on the right.

From Raleigh, NC: Travel west on I-40W/I-85 BUS S toward Greensboro/Winston-Salem. Take exit 224 and merge onto NC 6W/East Lee Street toward US-29N. Turn right onto Fulton Street. Turn left onto W. McGee Street. Take the second right onto S. Mendenhall St. The inn is ahead on the left.

From Charlotte, NC: Travel north on I-85 N. Follow signs for US 29/US 70E to Greensboro. Take exit 35B to merge onto US 220N toward I-40W/Coliseum Area. Continue onto Freeman Mill Road. Turn left onto W. McGee St. Turn right onto S. Mendenhall Street. The inn is ahead on the left.
